Diane Stammel (Mrs. Phelps) has enjoyed telling stories from the stage with several theater groups since 1977. For the past three summers, she has performed at the Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown: Box and Cox (Mrs. Bouncer), A Case for Eviction (Dora), and characters in the women’s rights vignettes. This season she will be in Express! (the Lady). She also appeared in last year’s A Christmas Carol. Some other recent roles are: Steel Magnolias (M’Lynn), Duets-The Blind Date (Wendy), Almost, Maine (Hope), The Hallelujah Girls (Nita), The Red Velvet Cake War (Jimmie Wyvette), Lafferty’s Wake (Kathleen), Passengers (the Bag Lady), and Off the Hook (Jessie). As one who loves reading and libraries and is grandmother of two who enjoy Roald Dahl’s stories, Diane is pleased to have the opportunity to be Mrs. Phelps for Bold Theatrics.
Tom Pondolfino (Sergei/Children's Entertainer) is a retired Navy Gunner's Mate and a native of Oneonta. He is thrilled to be back with Bold Theatrics. Recent past roles include the ghost of Christmas Present in Orpheus Theatre's production of A Christmas Carol, The Cowardly Lion in Orpheus Theatre's production of The Wizard of Oz, as well as Bill Sweeney, Big Bud Dean, and Principal Gowan in Bold Theatrics production of Heathers.
